The Closing Ceremonies

Hard to resist right?

This month has just been full of New Year's Resolutions, I mean, who says they have to made on January 1st, right? My newest one was confirmed last night and some of my friends and I had the closing ceremonies for us eating desserts until May 1st, so I ate a Snickers bar for all of us. Let's be real here though, we've already been trying to make exceptions to the rule so we'll see how this plays out, but we've made it through day 1 so far, so only 96 days left. Oh mylanta, that's a long time to resist sweet chocolately goodness, I mean who knows what could happen in the next 3 months, but let's be optimistic here. Just an example of a dilemma I could possibly have:

My mouth is watering already, this is going to be a long three months.

And this one I just thought was an amazing cake:

After this, hope you have a great day.

P.S. Eat a cookie for me, thanks.

  1. Andrea, I commend you on the commitment you have just made. Just so you know I have alos gone for periods of time of resisting sweets and my experience is the first week is the hardest. Once you get in the habit of turning down those decadent temptations it gets easier. Plus you start to feel a little smug about your personal will power. Good luck to you and your friends, I sure hope you have a fabulous party planned for May 1st!
